There are two main types of job postings, the internal and external postings. As the name suggests, the internal postings are only for the employees. Many times the existing employees have the required skills and qualification required for a particular position. The managers often post the vacancy internally and save the times and money involved in the overall hiring process. While the external postings are open to the public. External postings are done to acquire fresh new talent who possesses skills that are not available.

The job postings are created by the employer or the HR professionals. It might sound to be quite simple, but there are many factors that are to be considered for a good job posting.
